Dr. Justin Irgens

Dr. Irgens is a 2024 graduate of the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He grew up in Baker, Montana, where he developed a strong foundation in agriculture through active participation in both 4-H and FFA. He earned his associate’s degree from Casper College before continuing his undergraduate education at Oklahoma State University.

For the past two years, Dr. Irgens has practiced as a mixed-animal general practitioner in southeastern Oklahoma at a busy, high-volume walk-in clinic. While he enjoys working with animals of all sizes, he has a particular passion for canine and bovine medicine. His professional interests include small and large animal reproduction, cattle and small ruminant herd health, and preventive medicine and wellness care for companion animals.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Irgens enjoys spending time with his fiancé. Together, they share their home with five dogs: Brutus, Mildred, and Marco, their miniature Dachshunds, and Nena and Nellie, their Miniature Australian Shepherds. In addition, Dr. Irgens raises pedigreed Mini Rex and Holland Lop rabbits and values spending quality time with family and friends.

Dr. Irgens is excited to join the team at Buffalo Veterinary Clinic and looks forward to building lasting relationships with clients while providing compassionate, high-quality care to the animals of the community.
